Chapter Eleven Overview – Edward Leedskalnin (1887-1951)
Edward Leedskalnin lived in the 20th century and claimed to have discovered how the ancient Egyptians accomplished their astounding achievements of lifting monumental stones. To prove this he built a structure called the Coral Castle in Florida. Without any assistance he raised more than a thousand tons of coral rock to build the two-story tower that was his home. This included more than one hundred tons of individual carvings of furniture, statues, and astronomical representations. He took the knowledge to his grave.
